With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alvin T. DeArmitt of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2026 at the age of 72. As we bid Alvin farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alvin is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard T. DeArnitt and Willada Eichner DeArnitt; and his brother Richard H. DeArmitt. He is survived by: his brother Kerry Beal; his sister-in-law Mary DeArmitt of Mount Pleasant; and his nieces and nephews, Katie Thompson (Todd), Dominic Olson, John and Brittany Olson.
