He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz Joseph and Marie; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Amelia "Amy" Ruth Wheatley; his children, Franz Alexander (Janet), Carl Gregory (Miriam), Michael Vincent (Liz), Monika Therese Soles (Robb) and Kandida Maria Dawson (Al); his grandchildren, Max, Tom, Ann, Angela, Carlos, Rielly, Mikias, Luke, Zac, Sylvia and Abigale; and his great grandchild Amelia.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home - Mt. Pleasant (406 Washington St, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the St. Vincent dePaul Society in memory of Carl John Schaefer.
