We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2025, at the age of 88, Eleanor J. Poorbaugh of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver S. McConnell and Hazel L. Mitchell McConnell; and her husband Lee Roy Poorbaugh. She is survived by: her children, Denise Sperry (Michael) of Mifflintown, PA, Darryl Poorbaugh (Jennifer) of Mt. Pleasant and Donald Poorbaugh (Linda) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Jason Sperry (Ariane), Ben Sperry (Casey), Nick Sperry (Kristen), Nathan Poorbaugh (Jenna), Larissa Bukovac (Johnny), Nicole Hough (Jeremy), DJ Poorbaugh (Kaitlin), Justine Nudo (Devin), Cody Poorbaugh (Lexi) and Lauren Savage-Poorbaugh (Kara); her great grandchildren, Emmie, Franny, Hudson, Cullen Sperry, Tyler, Mia Martin, Amelia, Camri Poorbaugh, Kaia, Knox Bukovac, Nayvie, Teagan, Suttyn Hough, Brantley, Bristol Poorbaugh, Gabriel, Camden and Tatum Poorbaugh; and her siblings, Oliver R. "Bob" McConnell (Marilyn) and Barbara A. Ackerman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Paradise Church (105 Hoke Rd, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666).
