George R. Cotton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George R. Cotton of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Cotton and Sarah Hollander Cotton; and his brother Floyd Cotton. He is survived by: his wife Rosalee Monroe Cotton; his children, Eric Cotton (Shannon) and Elizabeth Cotton (Rex); his grandchildren, Alexis, Jocelyn Cotton and Haleigh Reed; and his great grandchildren, Sophia and Arthur.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc. (204 Eagle St, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666). The military honors was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 446 of Mt. Pleasant (752 W Main St, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, or the Alzheimer's Association in loving memory of George R. Cotton.
