He was predeceased by: his father Walter Ahner Jr.; his wife Carolynn Ahner (Jacoby); and his children, Lindsay Ahner and Matthew Ahner. He is survived by: his mother Louise Ahner (Sheffner) of Schererville, IN; his son Timothy Ahner of Mt. Pleasant, His; his siblings, David Ahner of Schererville, IN, Eric Ahner of Port Matilda, Julie Fleck (Jeff) of Hollidaysburg and Amy Ahner McHaffie (Pat) of Merritt Island, FL.; and his nephew Brian Mote. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
