He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sandzimier and Katherine Sandzimier; his siblings, Nellie Wise, Virginia Zimmerman, Theresa Shal, Sally Sandzimier, Frank, Marion, Bernard and Edward Sandzimier; and his mother-in-law Victoria Hammel.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sandzimier; his children, Tina Dillon (Ryan), Jason Sandzimier (Julie) and Vickie Anderson (Thad); his grandchildren, Sutton Zabrosky (Brent), Jacob Anderson, Joey Sandzimier, Claire Dillon, Lucas Anderson, John Sandzimier and Shane Dillon; and his siblings, Kathleen Forejt (Bob) and Joseph Sandzimier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home - Mt. Pleasant (406 Washington St, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church (740 Walnut St, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666).
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Visitation Catholic Church in Robert's honor, reflecting his deep faith and lifelong commitment to his parish community.
