He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond D. Postlethwait and Minnie Mae Postlethwait (Lemasters); his former wife Eileen J. Adams; his grandson Joseph J. Marks; and his siblings, Betty Lemasters, Pauline Greenawalt, Evelyn Verba, Jenny Studnicka, Raymond Postlethwait, Carl Postlethwait, David Proctor and Francis "Joe" Postlethwait.

He is survived by: his former wife Sharon L. Palmer of Mt. Pleasant; his daughter Dorinda Mae Marks of Delaware; his stepdaughter Deborah King (Kevin) of Acme; his granddaughter Rachelle Renee Marks of Delaware; and his brother Jerry Postlethwait (Linda) of Herminie.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. (106 Main St, Madison, PA 15663). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at the Madison Union Cemetery (Church Ln, Madison, PA 15663).
