It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert K. Lansdowne of Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sr. Lansdowne and Ethel Lansdowne (Altemose); and his siblings, Charlotte Heimbach, Harold Lansdowne, Jr. and William Lansdowne.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. (Bisbing); his children, David S. Lansdowne (Lynn) of Pocono Manor and Mara J. Reed (Glenn) of Reading; his granddaughters, Chelsea Lansdowne Beardsley (Jeffrey) of Pocono Manor and Ashley Lansdowne Salter (John Luke) of Cresco; his great grandchild Dorothy Lynn Salter; and his sister-in-law Edith Lansdowne. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to the Mount Pocono United Methodist Church.
