He is survived by : his wife Mary Brenneman (Roberts); his daughters, Lisa Schramm, Melissa Renninger (John Sr.), Betty Berrier (Eric) and Mary J. Spigelmyer; and his grandchildren, Kristie, Kevin, John II, Nathan, Dylan, Rachael, Colin, Alden, Amber and Hanah. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
