She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shives and Evaline Shives (Booher); her husband John K. Benson; her son John D. Benson; her grandson Dustin Benson; and her siblings, Wallace D. Shives and Nellie Coates.
She is survived by: her children, Sherian Kelley and William Benson; her granddaughter Stephanie Renninger; and her children, Elisabeth Foley, Jonathan Kelley, Gabrielle Benson and Tristan Benson. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heath-Anderson Funeral Home (61 E Shirley St, Mt Union, PA 17066). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
