He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard P. and Mary S. Horne (McMullen); his siblings, Chester Horne, Russell Horne, Charles Horne, Raymond Horne, Clyde Horne, Clarence Horne, Earl D. Horne, Hazel Horne, Stella Scott and Lena Shields; and his great grandchildren, Stephen and Cassidy Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda J. Horne; his sons, Michael T. Horne (Staci) of Bangor, PA and James R. Horne (Rebekah) of Farmington, PA; his grandchildren, Noah, Evan, Liam, Ryah, Katie (Caleb), Josiah (Ellie) and Samuel; his great grandchildren, Judah and Zebulun; his brother Donald E. Horne (Sandy); and his siblings-in-law, Ella Grace Smith, Barbara, Laura Welch and Benny Welch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
