He was predeceased by: his wife Betty J. Beakler (Smith); his parents, Elmer W. Beakler and Dorothy Beakler (Spangler); his daughter Cindy J. Heindel; and his brother Bobby Beakler.

He is survived by: his sons, Dane M. Beakler (Carolyn) of York and Daryl L. Beakler (Dawn) of Lebanon; his brother Tommy W. Beakler (Betsy); and his son-in-law Michael W. Heindel. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
