He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Thompson and Sara G. Thompson (Gross). He is survived by: his wife Kathy L. Thompson (Kohr); his daughter Kate Kelly (Dennis) of York; his granddaughters, Harper and Hailey; his pet Hunter; his mother-in-law Ardell Kohr (late Leo Kohr) of Manchester; his siblings-in-law, Thomas Kohr (Melissa) of York, Kenneth Kohr (Debra) of York, Susan Kohr of Manchester and Julie Bricker (Timothy) of York; and his sister Kathy DeBona (Al) of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, four great nieces, and one great nephew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center (87 S Main St, Mt Wolf, PA 17347). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
