He was predeceased by: his parents, Aline Yocum Cornelius and James; and his wife Geraldine Nobel Cornelius. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Gruber (David), Jon Cornelius (Jill Jones), Mary Cornelius (Allen Estes), Daniel Cornelius (Tracy), Jessica Zellman (Gene) and Edward Cornelius (Robin); and his caregivers, Jessica, Brenda and Debbie. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
