He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Stanton and Enilie Stanton (Livingston); his son Jeffrey Jay Stanton; and his siblings, David, Roger Stanton and Lois Stanton.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Stanton (Stemrich); and his children, Cindy Slifco (Steve) of Hopewell, PA, Sharon Ickes (Scott) of Monroeville, PA, James Stemrich (Danielle) of York, PA and Emilie Stanton (Ben Perone) of East Berlin, PA..
