He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kuzyk and Mary Gillis Kuzyk; and his granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Sorensen. He is survived by: his wife Vera "Dee" Moon Kuzyk; his daughters, Adrianne Kuzyk-Sorensen (Benn) of East Meredith and Tina Kuzyk (Paul Konschnik) of Wapwallopen; his grandchildren, Cody Konschnik (Haylee), Noah Konschnik, Hunter Konschnik, Sorena Sorensen, Joseph Sorensen, Elora Sorensen and Alexander Sorensen; and his sister Jolaine Dymond (Timothy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
