He is survived by: his wife Ryan; his children, Carl Klaus of Tucson, AZ and Jennifer Kalita of Silver Spring, MD; and his granddaughters, Diane Kalita and Megan Kalita. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in law, nieces and nephews.
