It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin J. Phillips Jr. of Muncy, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Phillips and Hilda Phillips (Reese); his son Curtis; and his granddaughter Layney Hakes. He is survived by: his close friend Maria Butchko; his children, Shena Hakes (Alvin Fosselman), Anthony Sampson (Trisha Hoover) and William Sampson (Rachel); his siblings, Dawn Phillips (Tina), Gene Phillips (Ann), Paul Phillips (Jill) and David Phillips (Janet); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Memphis Hakes, Anastasia and Elijah Sampson; and his caregivers, Maraleane Murray and Tina Phillips.
Viewing was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Radiant Light Assembly of God (9565 PA-442, Muncy, PA 17756). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Radiant Light Assembly of God Church (9565 PA-442, Muncy, PA 17756).
