It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha L. Messerly of Muncy, Pennsylvania, born in Burlington, Indiana, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Bowman and Grace Bowman (Rodkey); her daughter Peggy Ann Peltier; and her siblings, Joseph Bowman, Dora Caroline Bowman and Dorothy Mae High.

She is survived by : her children, Danforth Messerly of Jackson, MI, Larry Joe Messerly of LaCrosse, WI, Rebecca Messerly Sanguedolce of Montgomery and Wendy Jean Hockman of Auburn Hills, MI; and her sister Rosemary Bowman Austin Dimitt of Banning, CA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
