She was predeceased by: her father Luther Alfred Herman; her daughter Judy Althouse (Bruce Sr.) of Myerstown; and her siblings, Dorothy, Fay, Anna, Henry, Luther, Richard and David.
She is survived by: her mother Bertha Mary Herman (Bowersox); her grandchildren, Darrel Miller (Debby) of Indianapolis, IN, Galen Miller (Stacy) of Shickshinny, Mark Miller (Tamra) of Raleigh, NC., Ruthanne Gray, Bruce Althouse Jr., Michael Althouse, Kristoffer Miller, Mandy Crockenberg, Kenneth Miller, Matthew Miller, Andrea Hinz, Justis Miller, Shiloh Miller, Dustin Miller, Nathan Miller and Luke Miller; and her great grandchildren, Mitchell, Molly, Micah, Sydney, Zoe, Adeline, Lorelei, Sailor, Hazel, Sullivan, Josephine, Johanna, Lincoln, Sarah, Elisha, Jones, Miles and Callan. She is also survived by 6 nieces and 7 nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc. (9366 PA-35, Mt Pleasant Mills, PA 17853).
In Lieu of flowers, the immediate family is asking that any and all contributions be directed to the Gatehouse Inpatient Hospice Care Home, 1100 Grampion Boulevard, Williamsport, PA 17710-1946, whose kind, compassionate, devoted and personalized care made our mother's final days ones of peace and comfort.
