It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stanley E. Root (Muncy, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 25, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Elden Root and Shirley Root (Hartford); and his brothers, Bernard and Kevin Root. He is survived by : his wife Clara Leonardo; his daughter Corrie Root of Newfield, NY; his stepdaughter Crystal Leonardo of Newfield, NY; his siblings, Albert Root (Charlie), Roger Root and Susan Antes (James); and his sister-in-law Mary Root. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Lycoming Unit, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
