She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Joseph and Elizabeth Marie Schmidt of Etna, PA.; and her siblings, Bette Marie DeSimone (late Frank) and Richard F. Schmidt. She is survived by: the mothers of children, Bette Giran (Jack), Fran Serenka and Sara Serenka; her grandchildren, Addy Giran (Mike Zydel), Adam Giran, Kate Yonko Savit (Cory), Tia Serenka Yonko (Jason Schwartz), Abigail Catalano Eagan (Kevin), Duncan Catalano, MacKenzie Catalano (Alex Victor) and Wyatt Alexander Serenka; her great grandchildren, Gabriella Zimmerman, Jaxon Giran, Liliana Yonko, Gennaro Giran, Constantinos Savit, Benjamin Schwartz and Leonidas Savit; her sister-in-law Bette Jayne Serenka; her nephew F. Charles; and her niece Michelle DeSimone.
