He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Bakaysza and Andrew Bakaysza; and his siblings, Andy Bakaysza, Dorothy Panchak, Anna Lazur and Jane Bodnar.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Bakaysza (Pakula); his daughters, Angela Garcia (Fabian) and Lisa Bakaysza-Cepaitis (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Lucas and Veronica Garcia; and his sister Rose "Beb" Stefanik. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Savolskis - Wasik - Glenn Funeral Home, Inc. (3501 Main St, Munhall, PA 15120). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 7:30 PM and on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM.
