He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ketter and Anna Goralczyk Ketter; his brothers, Walter Ketter, Jr. (Rita) and Dennis Ketter; his parents-in-law, Leo and Helen Schaming; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Schaming and Maryann Schaming.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Schaming Ketter; his siblings-in-law, Neil, Suzanne Schaming, Ralph, Kathleen Schaming and Rita Schaming Schneider; his close friend Bill Shultz; his pet Rusty; and his close friend Alan Soltez. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, 10 great nieces and nephews, and 9 great, great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Angels RC Church (408 Baldwin Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15207).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Regis's name to any Veteran's charity or animal charity.
