He was predeceased by: his parents, August Stark and Jean Stark (McGlashan); his wife Patricia Stark (Whitlatch); and his brothers, Allan, Malcolm and Richard.

He is survived by: his children, Amanda Settelmaier (Jim), Brenda McGonigal (Alan) and Bryan Hilty (Ginny); and his grandchildren, Josh, Lauren Settelmaier and Katherine McGonigal.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Bridges Hospice.
