He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Johnson and Kathryn Johnson; his siblings, Donovan Johnson, Elaine Yarborough (Lenny), Charlotte Comeau (Hank) and Benjamin Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Edward and Margaret McMahon.
He is survived by: his children, Josh and Jessie; his wife Kathleen Johnson (McMahon); his children, Joshua Johnson (Jennifer) and Jessica Johnson (Robert Baumbach); his grandchildren, Archie and Marjorie Johnson; his stepgrandsons, Leo and Eli Baumbach; his brother James Johnson (Fran); and his siblings-in-law, George McMahon (Dawn), Jane McMahon, Patricia Vecchi (Larry) and Lois Geffel (Donald). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
