He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Borland Ayala; his parents, Ralph Ayala and Ann Ayala (Boyer); and his siblings, Jean Stewart (Bill), Raymond Ayala, Mercedes Bradley, Wilfred Ayala and Daniel Ayala.
He is survived by: his children, Babette Christman (Jim) and Paula Pizzuto (Dan); his grandchildren, Dillon (Trey), Joshua, Meghan (Jen) and Brandon; and his sister Cecelia Winer (Dan). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to the American Cancer Society.
