He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter S. Marts and Lillian Jean Enterline Marts of Murrysville; his parents-in-law, Homer T. and Lou Ellen Heider; his nephew Dr. Michael Pezze; and his niece Beth Ann Heider.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Marts; his children, Christina Marts (Heiner Leber) of Tunbridge, Jennifer Smith (Christer) of Harrison City and Xavier Marts (Celia) of Kannapolis; his sister Linda Jean Marts of Murrysville; his extended family, Homer T. Heider (Kathy), Don Heider (Patricia), Jim Heider (Barbara), Vincent Heider (Barbara Jo) and Barbara Jean Pezze (David); and his family, Dayton and Echo.
