He was predeceased by: his parents, Caesar Carazzo and Rosa Zanone Carazzo; his wife Geneva Soster Carazzo; and his siblings, Mario, Louis Carazzo and Frances Barnyk.
He is survived by: his daughter Roberta Thorkelson (John); his grandchildren, John Robert Thorkelson (Katie) and Dana Clements (Derek); his great grandchildren, Josie, Caroline and Patrick; his sister Joanne Barosh; and his nephew Robert Bernard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
