He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Gillis and Martha Gillis. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his sons, Scott (Lauren) and Brett; his grandsons, Jason and Heath; and his siblings, James (Carolyn) and Melodee (Larry).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home (3103 Lillian Ave, Murrysville, PA 15668). A prayer was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Salle Church (497 Athena Dr, Delmont, PA 15626).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, or Mother of Sorrows Roman Catholic Parish in Bill's name.
