He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter Payne and Ruth Payne; and his brother Peter David. He is survived by : his wife Celeste Payne (Nadeo); his children, Amy Emmerling (Mark), William Payne (Susan), Margi Lane (David) and Patricia Messina (Joe); his grandchildren, Nick, Katie, Janie, Alex, Jimmy, Jack, Matt, Julia, David, Meena, Luke and Maggie; and his great grandchild Derek. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
