She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas E. Shaak; her mother Bertha Brown; her stepfather Felix Kline; and her siblings, Kathleen Weik, John Ernfield and Harry Ernfield.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rachel L. (Patrick Sebastian) of Wyomissing and Emily J. (Jay Wilkes) of Collegeville; and her sisters, Loretta Stamm of Myerstown and Jeannette Yeakley of Bethel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grose Funeral Home, Inc. (358 W Washington Ave, Myerstown, PA 17067). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post 6076 Ladies Auxiliary, 410 W. Main Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067.
