He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Shifflet and Fleme Catherine Shifflet (Tate). He is survived by: his wife Katharine Shifflet (Lupinetti); and his children, Lisa R. (John Collins) of North East, MD, Lori J. (Timothy Clippinger) of Stewartstown, PA, C. Todd (Michele Shifflet) of Womelsdorf and Beth M. (Stephen Sheffy) of Fredericksburg, PA. He is also survived by six grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; and one great-granddaughter.
