He was predeceased by: his parents, Peggy F. Evans and Edward B. Evans; and his siblings, Judy, Edward and Mark.

He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Kyle Evans (Meghan), Avery, Addison and Col. Collin Evans (Kelly); his grandchild Aiden; and his brothers, James B. (Patty Evans) of Drums and Jeffrey M. (Beth).
