With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Lou Shannon (Narberth, Pennsylvania), born in Linfield, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Trinley and Elizabeth Trinley (Stepka); her husband Thomas; her daughter Jane Shannon; her brother Ronald Trinley; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Loftus, Eileen Medlock, Russell Medlock, James Loftus and Carl Schultze.
She is survived by: her children, Michele Gallagher (Fran), Tom Shannon IV, Mark Shannon (Susan) and Kathy Sonnad; her sister Janet Schultze; and her sister-in-law Louise Trinley.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Saint Margaret of Antioch Parish (208 N Narberth Ave, Narberth, PA 19072). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betty's name to a local ASPCA of your choice.
