He is survived by: his children, Mary N. Knox, Francis P. Knox, Jr. and Erin H. Edwards (Theodore); his grandson Theo K. Edwards; and his siblings, William Knox Jr., Lawrence Knox, Mary Kathleen Frank (Hans), Christopher Knox (Janet), Jeannie Alexander, Patricia Hanlon (Christopher) and Gregory Knox. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
