He was predeceased by: his parents, David B. Hurst and Esther Hurst (Weaver); his son David C. Hurst; and his sister Eileen Horst. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Anne Hurst (Halsey); his daughter Beth Anne Hurst (James "Mitchell" MacDonald) of Ipswich, MA; his grandchildren, Samuel Hurst MacDonald and Alice Hurst MacDonald; and his sister Evelyn (James Bailey).
Viewing will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pine Grove Church (1194 Reading Rd, Bowmansville, PA 17507). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
