She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Kenneth and Ida May Bannon (McAfee); her husband I. Eugene Shirk; her daughter-in-law Debra Shirk; and her siblings, Charles Bannon and Edna Becker.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis E. (Karen), Vickie L. (late Dennis Stoltzfus), Linda S. (Lennie Martin) and Donna M. (Greg Baxter). She is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and her sister.
