She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Shirk and Marth Shirk; her daughter Florence; and her great grandchild Nathan Zimmerman. She is survived by: her husband Ivan N. Hoover; and her children, Irene (David Eberly) of Narvon, Vernon (Mary Ella) of Narvon, Edward (Lucy) of Narvon, Esther (Lowell Zimmerman) of Narvon, Mary Hoover (Miriam Hoover) of Narvon, Lloyd Stauffer (late Florence) of Narvon, Anna Hoover of Narvon, Joseph (Esther Mae) of Narvon and Vera (Nelson Lee Hoover) of Narvon. She is also survived by forty-four grandchildren and seventy great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoover Residence (2590 Hammertown Rd, Narvon, PA 17555). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Churchtown Old Order Mennonite Church (2207 Main St, Narvon, PA 17555).
