It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivan N. Hoover of Narvon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Hoover and Ellen Hoover (Newswanger); his wife Esther Z. Hoover (Shirk); his daughter Florence; and his great grandchild Nathan Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his children, Irene (David Eberly) of Narvon, Vernon (Mary Ella) of Narvon, Edward (Lucy) of Narvon, Esther (Lowell Zimmerman) of Narvon, Mary Hoover (Miriam Hoover) of Narvon, Lloyd Stauffer (late Florence) of Narvon, Anna Hoover of Narvon, Joseph (Esther Mae) of Narvon and Vera (Nelson Lee Hoover) of Narvon; and his sisters, Ada Hoover of New Holland and Emma Hoover of New Holland. He is also survived by forty-four grandchildren and seventy great grandchildren.
