Barbara Simms Obituary
We announce the death of Barbara Simms of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 73. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Caffardo and Melville Caffardo; her son Robbie Simms; her stepmother Mary Frances Caffardo; and her stepbrother Frank.
She is survived by: her significant other Mark Donahue of Natrona Heights; her son Eric Simms (Janelle) of Tucson, AZ; her brothers, Anthony Caffardo (Donna) of Land O Lakes, FL and Joseph Caffardo (late Cindy) of Pittsburgh; her stepbrother Ron Tirio (Coke) of Windsor Locks, CT; and her granddaughters, Serena and Saoirse Simms. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Charles B. Jarvie Springdale Funeral Home Inc. (801 Pittsburgh St, Springdale, PA 15144). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at the Deer Creek Cemetery (902 Russellton Rd, Cheswick, PA 15024).
