He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nycz and Salamaja Nycz (Platek); his wife Helen Nycz (Borowski); his daughter Michele D. Nycz; and his siblings, Frank, Walter Nycz, Casimira Kovalchick, Domicela Pawloski, Sophie Ewanish, Hedwig Pawloski and Leona Guzak.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward Nycz (Bonnie) of Allegheny Township, Stanley Nycz (Kathy) of Natrona and Mark Nycz (Annette) of Natrona. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home (1522 Carlisle St, Natrona Heights, PA 15065). A prayer was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc. (1522 Carlisle St, Natrona Heights, PA 15065). A Mass was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Transfiguration R. C. Church (100 McKrell Rd, Russellton, PA 15076).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ed may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
