He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bachar and Mary Bachar (Mikcuslin); his wife Helen L. Bachar (Wisniewski); his son Brian Bachar; and his siblings, Joseph, Andrew, Vincent, Benjamin, Clement Bachar, Mary Achkio, Amelia Klobuka, Helen Calligan and Josephine Bachar.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Bachar (Mary Ann) of Greenlawn and Lisa Kaufman (Luke) of Ocean Beach; his grandchildren, Bailey Marie Kaufman, Zachary, Aidan, Stephanie Bachar and Brian Bachar, Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Shelia Bachar of Lake Worth, FL.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
