He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Barr and Mary Ellen Barr (Fye); his wife Virginia L. Hilliard Barr; and his sister Nancy. He is survived by: his sons, Richard L. Barr of Homestead, FL and John Barr of Coconut Grove, FL; his grandchildren, Sean, Amanda, Natalie and Jordan; and his great grandchildren, Lydia, Cheyenne, Lily, Gwen, Brienne, Cora and Liam. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
