He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Zeiler and Dorothy Zeiler Struhar (Hughan). He is survived by: his wife Marie J. Zeiler (Potocnak); his children, Michelle Zeiler (Christopher Whitt) of Pittsburgh and Michael Zeiler of Natrona Heights; his grandson William Zeiler (Skylar); his siblings, Darlene Sakala of Leechburg and Larry Struhar (Michelle) of Natrona Heights; and his sister-in-law Elaine Jasso (Sidney) of Natrona Heights. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
