She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Brent and Ada Ruth Smith Bishop; her husband William Palmer Barnhart; her stepchildren, Delores A. Barling, Carol F. Hollinshead and William C. Barnhart; and her sister Debra Ann Iden.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Mary Cromwell of Needmore, PA and Roger L. Barnhart of Fort Loudon, PA; and her siblings, Elaine Bishop Cochran of Hancock, MD, Terry Lynn Bishop (Judy) of Hustontown, PA and Wayne Eugene Bishop (Donna) of Sturgeon Bay, WI. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center (95 Union St, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church (14253 Exline Rd, Hancock, MD 21750).
