He was predeceased by : his parents, Lyle Husted and Eulah Husted (Place); his daughters, Linda Husted and Lois Neal; and his siblings, Lyle Husted, Jr. and Lena Mae Artley.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia (Irwin); his children, Edward "Pete" Husted, Jr., Robert Husted (Adel), J. George Husted and Sally Neal (Frank Bubb); his grandchildren, Tim Neal (Suzette), Christopher Neal (Alyssia), Kristie Husted, Robbie Husted, Katina Husted (Andy Cook), Samantha Burton (Ryan Clark) and Tyler Neal (Paiton); his great grandchildren, Dominic, Eliza Martey-Neal, Olivia Neal, Kirstie Husted, Raven McComas, Darwin, Ethan Cook, Adrian, Benjamin, Camden Clark, Beau Giles, Koree and Jacklynn Neal; his son-in-law Steve Neal; and his great grandchildren, Brook, Lucinda and Anna.
