She was predeceased by: her friend Judd Allen; her former husband Sam Benson Martz; her parents, Reamer Polk and Ethel Polk; and her siblings, Jesse, Edward, Leona, Dorothy, James and Clayton Polk.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Kathleen Barnes; her son-in-law Randal Barnes; her granddaughters, Sherry and Kimberly Barnes; and her great grandchild Gemmalee.
