He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis W. Houston and Catherine H. Hooper (Ryan); his wife Florence E. Houston (Haley); and his brother John Bogdan. He is survived by: his children, Mae Nash, Nescopeck Twp, Ann Holland (Joseph) and Lewis Houston of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Haley Owens, Conor Holland, Mason Nash, Olivia Holland and Gabriel Nash; and his siblings, Susan Switlik of Trenton, NJ and Richard Bogdan (Lyn) of Millertown, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the McBride Memorial Library in Berwick.
