She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton "Tony" Shish and Mary Shish (Henzel); and her siblings, Anna Fandozzi, Julian, Anthony, Martin, Alex and Steve Shish.

She is survived by: her husband Frederick L. Tanner; her sons, Brian Tanner of Neshannock Twp, David Tanner (Ashley) of Cosby, TN and Douglas Tanner-Mansell (Michael) of Farrell, PA; and her siblings, Julie Colich (Stephen), Joseph Henzel and John Shish. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (111 W Falls St, New Castle, PA 16101). A procession will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Will Leave the Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirt Parish - St. Camillus (314 W Englewood Ave, New Castle, PA 16105).
